Should I Give My Homeschool Graduate a Diploma?

Giving a diploma might be a very good idea. Not needed, but a very good idea. There are times with life when kids are generally asked, “Are you a high school graduate? ” And, “Do you have increased school diploma? ” Although it is possible to assure them they really are a high school graduate, providing them with a paper transcript can emphasize the purpose, so there is no doubt. And although you can assure them they’re just a high school graduate, having a diploma can remind them to always say YES if asked once they have one.

I recommend giving students a diploma. We used HomeschoolDiploma. com for our little ones. I have also worked with them with respect to a large homeschool graduation, and the copy was great! They can supply a beautiful diploma. I take mine beside me when I speak, and homeschool parents are impressed with how nice that looks. They have lots of sizes and prices and options. They have indicated wording, so you can get some hand-holding as you create the brains behind is just right for your needs.

Your homeschool diploma can be a real diploma. You may not know this but you can find unaccredited high schools (general public and private) within the country. All of these schools grant diplomas to their graduates. This reality has forced universities to handle the issue and make policies on how to handle applicants from these unaccredited colleges.

Here, for example, is the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education policy on diplomas from their unaccredited public schools:

“Students which graduate from an unaccredited the school district still receive diplomas. As far as state education officials are concerned, the diploma of a student who graduates from an unaccredited school district is actually valid. “

Those unaccredited degrees are real, it is just the high school isn’t recognized by the State or section as accredited. Unaccredited homeschool diplomas are real as well. Giving a homeschool diplomas is a good idea. Give yours proudly.
